i have a general question, do people even understand what idol means?

Definition: a person who is loved, admired, or respected a lot: Basketball players are his idols. An idol is also an object or picture that is worshipped as a god.

It's not a profession, like singer, it's a person who everyone looks up too. Elon Musk is an Idol, Tom Cruise is an Idol, Eminem is an Idol. But some Ground Group singer who didn't achieve anything yet in his life can't become an Idol. Idol is a title not a job. I wish Japan stop miss-using that term for Singers :(

Which ones? Only ones that are out now are Overmind and this one. Idolish7 third season is already finished for now. I want more male idol animes to watch, but I watched almost all the ones that came out till this day lmao so am struggling with finding recommendations.

Idolish7 S3 Part2 is not over yet since it's gonna be 17 eps.
And reason I'm dropping is too many on this season and definitely too many on Saturday.

I did look at the cover and watch this a bit.
I'm not saying it's bad, it's just I'm picking and choosing on anime this season and especially on Saturdays anime line up when it's most stacked cause there's too many and I have other shows to catch up.
At some point I'll may come back and watch but not right now.

That's why I sample first. Vazzrock was good first but got boring later on, also I'm watching Idolish7 and Eternal Boys currently so. And when it comes to all male or semi-all male pop idol anime it's a mix bag with me cause some tends to be dry or boring which is the same with female pop idol anime.

love the characters and their faces I'm inloveee T^T love the first ep the way and thoughts I'm watching this episode is confuse, okay, smiling, we're good on the start, got a bit emotional, smile smile cause like the handsome faces I've seen and excited for the next episode ^^. I'm looking forward to it, the vibes feels a bit of I-CHU so I like it a lot ^^/

OMG!!! Akira's voice is so amazing and his personality and looks are absolutely lovely! He is the type of boy who really deserves to be famous bcs you know he won't turn into a giant douchebag and will actually use his fame for good and not selfishly! Such a likeable character! I love this, definitely stick with it! The music is beautiful as well! :)

Better than many other idol/band animes where they just do the slide show thing, like Vazzrock or Dynamic Chord or have them do some stupid basic movements with their hands and call it a day lmao at least here they are actually dancing (Mostly the Legit group in that moment the mc saw them in the company, their dance at that parts was good. You might be talking about the Anela or whatever their name was part at the beginning, but I mostly meant the other group. Anela were decent too though).

true, true. I just like having a little higher standards because Vazzrock and Dynamic Chord are nothing but commercial waste where they weren't invested in creating a quality story at all.

Exactly and it saddened me! Especially Vazzrock, it had some nice characters and duos which sweet bonds, like the siblings, the pink long haired dude and his bestie, and blue hair sickly dude with the tan green haired dude (Already forgot the names lmao), yet the anime plot felt vague and boring most of the time, and they barley bothered showing any music stuff till last episode. Some of the songs were pretty good that I downloaded them, but still they wasted the anime completely on them talking, modeling, acting...etc everything but music.
Dynamic Chord was just tragic, even characters felt hollow although they looked very nice. At least Technoroid: Overmind, Eternal Boys, and UnitUp! are all good so far.

Aaaah same. You know Vazzrock is a part of Tsukino Productions, right? They've made some anime adaptions with their other groups and I thought the anime like Tsukipro wasn't exactly the best but still comfy and all and the opening songs for each group were actually pretty darn cool! both first and second season! So I was hyped about Vazzrock tbh.,, uuaaah. Vazzrock was TOO the "standard" or "the minimum" I feel. Also the tanned dude, Reiji is his name was my favorite as well, he got some good shots tbh tbh. I'm hyped up for UnitUp! Since it LOOKS nice at least!

Vazzrock is trash compared to Tsukipro honestly. Tsukipro/Tsukiuta aren't as good as Idolish7 (Which I consider the best idol anime and is my favorite one), but still good enough, and they actually cared about the music part unlike Vazzrock which turned full slice of life mode since the first episodes. I prefer to see the characters actually practice their singing, dancing, trying to fix issues related to their musical skills...etc along with watching their bonds and knowing about their backstories as well.

Vazzrock was more of an ad thing, of them showing off their coolness most of the time lol and they only showed them singing and dancing bit in last episode only. At that point I totally forgot it was a music related anime anyway.

So far (2 episodes in) and UnitUp! seems promising honestly. Feel like it will focus a lot on the character trying their best to improve their skills to become great idols. Besides the animation and music are much better than Vazzrock. Something about UnitUp! feels realistic too and the whole turning YouTube famous singers into an idol group is a nice concept.

Oh, forgot to mention I also loved the op songs of Tsukipro, especially Quell (Which were my top group in that anime), and Solids. Growth were also great with the fairytale fantasy concept. Only group I barely liked were Soara.
